It's not too often that we use the word as exceptional however our stay here was without doubt exceptional . The owners Phil & Charlotte were in the background and unobtrusive which was comforting to know as both of us have mobility issues. The location which settles into an area of woodland with upmarket residential properties was very peaceful and relaxed. There are plenty of places of historic nature and more modern features to occupy the most discerning pleasures. Country pubs and eateries are in abundance for most tastes , some like stepping back in times. Local folk are most welcoming and helpful. Furnishings are contemporary and high quality, everything we needed is provided. Parking is secure with direct access to the property. Our 2 standard poodles settled into the property and enjoyed their stay. We returned home to middle England with big smiles on our faces having spent 4 nights of relaxation in a new relaxing bolt hole. 7 nights would have been more than welcome however in our civic roles as Mayor & Mayoress of a midlands market town, duties call.

Beautiful property with literally everything you need in a quiet, pretty location that is still close to amenities. Charlotte and Phil were so welcoming and friendly and kept in touch in case we needed anything - which we didn't. I would definitely recommend a stay at The Copse it was amazing. Thank you so much Charlotte / Phil - we will definitely be back very soon.

Thank you both for the lovely welcome and personal touches including fruit, fresh coffee, milk, bread and butter and a meal for the first night. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped throughout with good quality appliances and bedding. The sofa and bed was exceptionally comfortable, and bathroom fantastic, the dogs appreciated the towels, covers and water bowl provided if needed. The extra bonus for us was the enclosed garden space. We will come again.

We normally visit Norfolk but decided on a change and Oulton Broad does not disappoint! We loved the park, Frodo enjoyed the shade as it has been hot. Visited Beccles, Thorpeness and Walberswick, all beautiful villages. So many on the list for next time.
Thank you for this stunning cottage, decorated to a high standard and so easy to relax in , loved the suntrap garden and the peace. The goodies left were such a welcome surprise and enjoyed very much. We will definitely return we would recommend the Copse to anyone.

Cottage was absolutely beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed for our break. So lovely of the owners to leave us a meal, along with bread, butter, milk and even a little bag of dog treats. We had a very warm welcome from Charlotte and Phil , who also have us some top tips on places to visit. The Cottage is nearby to some beautiful walks on the Oulton Broad and a 20 minute drive to the lovely beach of Gorelston. We would definitely recommend a stay at the beautiful Copse and will hopefully be visiting again in the future.

This was a beautifully furnished and well equipped property. The owners were very friendly and had provided a beautiful welcome pack. The garden was completely secure for our puppy only problem was she couldn't go out on her own as she likes trying to eat pebbles and there were plenty for her to choose from, Great to be able to park right outside. We had a lovely week and would recommend it to others our stay was perfect.
